More About Andrew L. Benjamin
- My Greatest Talent as a Lawyer is quantifying client risk and the prospects for success at trial or in negotiation.
- The most rewarding part of my job is watching clients grow from a position of hurt to one of strength.
- During my free time, I work out to gain strength, endurance and agility; eat good meals with friends; walk the beach; and attend most every Seahawks home game.
- I look up to Judges who are dedicated to “getting it right” and who are sensitive that they are the custodian of the parties’ day in court. I also look up to opposing counsel who are mature and talented enough not to let their client’s hostility permeate our work together for our clients’ common interests.
- If I took a day off, I would be visiting with friends or otherwise exploring the beautiful Pacific coast.
- Nobody would suspect that I have studied two languages: Latin and Hebrew.
- I give back to my community as a Guardian ad Litem who makes sure that minor children receive full and fair compensation for their injury settlements.
- This makes me smile: kind parenting, kids playing outdoors while live music is playing, watching a beautiful sunset, observing my son become a good man and a fine lawyer, Seahawks winning a big game (see below).
- My dream trip would be to hike between villages in the Cinque Terre in Italy.
- If I have learned one thing in life, it is to focus on the positive. As Winston Churchill said: “I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.”
